Change, even if welcome, can be stressful and as with Pregnancy, can sap your energy for coping abilities. Special equipment and positions accommodate you throughout your pregnancy. A Pregnancy Massage can provide you with: : * time alone * reduced stress * relief of back, neck and shoulder pain * reduced pain from sore muscles and sciatica * increased flexibility * reduced swelling of your hands and feet * decreased stress on your weight-bearing joints * a boost to your immune system and * increased ability to maintain your sense of well-being To receive this Massage you must : -be between the ages of 18 to 35 years - be at least 13 weeks pregnant and - have an uncomplicated pregnancy Certain medical conditions require your Physician's written permission. This will be discussed prior to your first appointment. Infant Massage for Someone New A Gift of Love: a parent's gentle touch nourishes the body and the soul, promoting good health and a loving bond ...... This Massage: - enhances bonding with the most important people in the baby's life - addresses colic and excess gas - builds a sense of trust, security and acceptance - relaxes baby and helps induce sleep - strengthens the immune system - improves functioning of the baby's major body systems - tones muscles and - brings the baby in touch with their body Requirements: Your Baby is to be between the ages of 4 weeks and 12 months as this age range seems to garner the most positive response to the technique.. Also, the baby (at 4 weeks) is to be free of any Umbilical cord remnants since an abdominal massage is demonstrated and performed on your baby. The Class: Meets 1 hr a weeks for 2 consecutive weeks in your home. All handouts, instructional materials & specially formulated massage oil ( nut free ) are included in the Fee.
